On September 9, 2025, the Nepalese Society of Sudbury organised a candlelight gathering at the William Bell Gazebo in Bell Park, with the approval of the City of Greater Sudbury.
Community members gathered at 8:00 PM to honour those who lost their lives during the protests in Nepal, standing in solidarity and remembrance. The peaceful gathering by the shores of Ramsey Lake brought together Nepalis from across Greater Sudbury in a moment of reflection and unity.
