The Nepalese Society of Sudbury celebrated Dashain and Tihar 2082 with a spectacular community gathering on November 10, 2025. The evening featured traditional cultural dances, live music, delicious Nepali food, and a warm atmosphere of community bonding. Members from across Greater Sudbury came together to mark the most important festivals of the Nepali calendar year.
The celebration honoured the spirit of Dashain — the festival of victory of good over evil — and Tihar, the festival of lights, bringing joy and togetherness to the Nepali diaspora in Northern Ontario.
